Right in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, this is a long close or alley that is in two parts and goes from The Royal Mile down to Waverley Station.

It is also the title of one of the Rebus ‘Tartan Noir’ Detective novels by Ian Rankin – well worth reading his stuff if you want well written crime fiction that is set in the city. Note, this the Rankin that’s a writer, not the Rankin that’s a photographer who was in the recent Retina Exhibition in Edinburgh, what with them being different things’n’all. Maybe they both do both, who knows?

As to Yum, Yum, I dunno, never tried it, so won’t comment one way or the other. Unless, of course, you know different?

Firstly, a recent one in daylight.

Yum Yum?
Yum Yum?

And then an older one from a winter evening this year.
